For instance, suddenly changing from discussing one thing and then changing to something else should not surprise anyone familiar with Hebraic linguistic customs. The book, therefore, was a compilation of nations bound together by the meaningful attributes associated with birds of prey. It has been noted that vultures and eagles feed on carrion (dead or decaying flesh). This suggests that these countries are bonded together for some purpose related to a carcass. Could that carcass be a dead church?

Because the eagle is the United States' mascot of choice, and because the USA is God's client nation on earth, it came with a vital warning from God that America is in danger of being 'sold' to their enemies. We cannot deny that America has been God's agent to get the gospel out to the world, for 90-95% of missionary activity in the last couple of centuries has been accomplished by her. Her prosperity has been guarded over by angels for the sole purpose of bringing God's hidden Kingdom to fruition.

As the backbone of the Philadelphian Church, the United States was predestined to work the Lord's will in bringing His secret Kingdom to the point of manifestation. Nations come and go according to the will of God. They rise and fall to meet His purposes [Daniel 4:35], and America is no exception.

Daniel outlined the panorama of political history in short form from God's interpretation of Nebuchadnezzar's dream. Daniel wrote that the final kingdom will be that of the Rock – Jesus 11– cut out of the mountain of nations without man's help. Jesus' Kingdom peppered throughout the nations in the hearts of men will in due time emerge victorious as the final Kingdom consummating world history. However ambitious men are, they cannot control continuously the minds of men with sin natures, and neither can the devil. God can, and Jesus will.

Wherefore, the eagle from on high represents the USA. The breeze that lifted up the feather on the eagle's head signified that the time has arrived for transformation of the mighty eagle into a vulture. Remember that vultures flock together and like piranha fish voraciously devour flesh. This book is not the book of life. Whatever nations bond together in this book will become goat nations when Jesus judges the nations that turn on tiny Israel.

31 When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory: 32 And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats: 33 And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left (according to how they treated Jesus' brethren {verse 40}). 34 Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world... 41 ...Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels:

The above account is Jesus' explanation that before He sets up His Kingdom, all nations will be judged according to how they treated His brethren, Israel and Christians, during the tribulation. Read the entire parable for better insight on this. The book of birds catalogues those nations that will be goat nations. Their actions toward Israel and Christians are recorded in the chapters.

These piranha birds in the registry are even now gathering together against tiny Israel. Alas and forsooth the United States is aligning with them. Woe to the nation that curses Israel [Genesis 12:3]. Add to this the Islamic hatred for Israel and you have a huge block of people, billions, who would like to see Israel disappear. Since the United Religions of the world rides the back of the United Nations in Revelation chapter seventeen, I submit that the carcass the vultures are feeding on after the true believers are gone is a dead church.

Given two sets of people, rapture of one group from off earth implies that the other group is left [Luke 17:34-36]. Thus, Jesus answered His disciple's query about where the people went who were taken with this enigmatic statement: Wheresoever the body is, thither will the eagles be gathered together [Luke 17:37]. The Holy Spirit left the interpretation of this statement for future disciples to discover because Jesus did not explain it. It requires the unsealing of the book of Daniel so that all prophetic passages in both Testaments can be harmonized with it. Daniel was told that his book would be sealed and shut up to interpretation until the endtimes [12:2]. Furthermore, Jesus said there is nothing hidden that shall not be revealed at the proper time, and I believe the Holy Spirit has revealed this riddle to me.

When the born again believers are taken away, what remains is a dead church. Hence Jesus' answer addresses the fact that eagles (the word is vulture in the Greek) will flock upon the dead Tribulation Church left behind in large numbers to devour it. So Jesus inferred that the ones 'taken' were taken to heaven as reaped grain is taken into a barn awaiting its time of use. When the Kingdom of Heaven is established, these reaped believers will come back with Jesus to rule with Him.

Jesus likened His Kingdom in Matthew 13:32 to a mustard seed plant that having grown to maturity, birds lodge in it and find shade, nourishment, and rest. The inference is that these birds represent ravenous birds because in the parable of the sower they represent satan [Matthew 13:19 with Mark 4:4]. Daniel 4:12 tells us that a tree is a symbol of power. Hence we can deduce that the birds lodging in Jesus' powerful endtime church are voracious and predatory. From all appearances they seem harmless as they seek shelter in the church, but beneath the façade of the church decay is seething and the birds are feasting.

In the early martyrdom years, the Kingdom grew exponentially. Satan was befuddled because he could not snuff it out. After Christianity became the state religion of the Roman empire, the devil found a way to suppress the church and get a foothold in it. He prostituted it by infusing heathen dogma into its tenets. His fowls found rest and worked satan's will until now the church has become a worldwide power with a complex organization supporting large vultures feeding on her wealth. Size does not connote success. The USSR was a dismal failure.

America's defection from being pro-Israel to becoming pro-Arab is no secret. Our president has canceled weaponry needed in Israel for her defense as well as other assistance in vital areas. He has revoked automatic annual renewal of Israeli scientists' visas to America for the purpose of attending conferences, while giving questionable military aid to her enemies. This is indicative of a significant foreign policy change.

You saw the burning cross at the end of the vision. It will be the end of Christianity as we have known it. The church began ablaze with persecution, and it will end ablaze with persecution. What can we do about it? Repent, watch, and pray that you will be among those worthy to escape the things stored up for judgment as Jesus advised.

36 Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.

Why did Jesus exhort His disciples to be diligent to watch and pray so as to escape the tribulation's tribulation? The word "therefore" is the key that answers that question. Jesus had just finished outlining calamitous and appalling events that would transpire prior to the end of the age, events so horrendous He is going to have to shorten the days [Matthew 24:22]. Thus, Jesus pointedly advised that we take steps to avoid being here at that time.

Who will escape? According to Revelation 12:5 only the man-child (true Christians) of the Israeli woman who gave birth to the Christian ethos will be caught up to heaven and escape events on earth 12 . The woman signifies Israel, and she must flee to the wilderness for protection from the dragon during the last half of the tribulation because she is not spiritually alive yet and cannot cross the divide into heaven. Ah, but God is not through with her. Nonetheless, before she is saved as a nation, she will have to undergo another great holocaust.

All professed Christians are not true Christians, and hence will not be in the catching up. Moreover, only Messianic Jews who are converted to Christianity qualify to be caught up. We can conclude from the foregoing, that according to Jesus, being raptured and kept from the hour of temptation [Revelation 3:10] is a high privilege of Christianity.

Paul explained to the Thessalonians that the day of Christ otherwise known as the day of the rapture had not arrived, and they should not think they were in the tribulation [2 Thessalonians 2:2]. Because persecution had heated up, believers in Paul's day thought they had missed the rapture.
