When Jeannette related the content of this vision, I knew right away that it was a message regarding the demise of American influence around the world. Hearing that she found herself in a large colonial style White House with early American furniture, and then hearing that the numbers she saw formed by powerful clouds in the sky were 88 and 1821, I deduced right away that they had something to do with our government. The numbers were not esoteric but instructive to me. The letters on the stone, however, were not so accommodating. Nevertheless, I was naturally curious and somewhat apprehensive about what the Holy Spirit would ultimately reveal as the defining message. I subsequently learned that the numbers spoke to one time frame while the letters addressed another. I felt confident throughout the inquiry that the numbers had something to do with the United States' sovereignty, and the letters referenced the United Nations' sovereignty. The revelation about how they tied together came while I was searching for the meaning of the strange looking letters in a book about ancient writing. |

As Jeannette related the vision, I quickly locked in to Presidents George Bush and James Monroe who were elected as the watchmen on the wall to protect America's freedom and peace in the years 1988and 1821 respectively. At the outset, I sensed that the two digits numbering 88 stood for 1988, which has always been a key year to me. Having received the interpretation of this vision from the Lord, I now know the reason I have intuited that it was a pivotal year. Are you wondering, as I did, why the Holy Spirit inscribed only the last two digits of 1988 in the clouds? The Spirit informed me it was so that the interpreter would not let the date itself be the terminus of the significance of the numbers. He wanted the interpreter to focus as much attention on the scriptural meaning of the number 8 as on the connotation of its date. Doubling a number emphasizes its value, therefore, the Spirit utilized the double witness principle to hammer home its heady burden. He wanted the meaning of the dates in American history to underscore the vision's root because 1988 was a threshold year of new beginnings for God's client nations, the United States of America and Israel. It was the year Yassar Arafat, head of the feisty Palestinian Liberation Army, recognized Israel as a nation. It was also the year that the Old Guard of President Reagan's 8-year attempt to revive America's sense of pride and honor was out, and the New World Order was in. We must give Bush's predecessor, Ronald Reagan, credit, however, and I think history will, for his efforts to revive America's nationalistic pride even though Old Glory has now gone the way of the wind and has ceased to be the flag under which her soldiers die on a battlefield. You may recall that when Al Gore eulogized America's soldiers who died in the Somalian debacle during the 1990s decade, he said that they had died in service to the United Nations. As an aside, the father of one of those who died sent back his son's medals to the United States government stating that his son had pledged an oath to protect the United States of America, not the United Nations of the world. Hence, new beginnings embody the essence of this communiqué from God. For the beginner unschooled about the Bible, let me explain that the number eight in Scripture stands for a new beginning. Babies are circumcised on the eighth day because it is the one-day in development when the blood's substance for clotting is at its height circumventing excessive bleeding from which an infant could die. Our creator planned this in advance of fashioning man because He knew that circumcision would become His mandate at a future time as a sign of a covenant relationship with Him prior to the cross of Calvary where a new blood covenant was inaugurated. The requirement for circumcision in the flesh has been superceded in this age of Grace by a higher commandment, that of circumcision of the heart [Romans 2:28,29]. We covenant with God and worship Him in spirit and in truth now, not in an outward show of rituals. The blood that cut the new covenant has been shed by God on the cross and we covenant with Jesus by means of faith through the spirit of our minds [Ephesians 4:23]. Since God looks on heart motivations of men rather than outward appearances [1 Samuel 16:7], outward circumcision is no longer necessary. I will make mention of only a few other things where the number 8 is instructive. Firstly, Jesus' name adds up to 888 in Greek just as the Antichrist's name will add up to 666. As the King of Kings, He is to be regent of the final everlasting earthly Kingdom of peace and righteousness, the manifested Kingdom of Heaven. The eighth day of the week is always the beginning of a new one. Lastly, nearly everyone knows that only 8 people entered the ark and walked out to become the progenitors of the newly cleansed earth after the flood in Noah's day. Thus, we must keep in mind that a new beginning is the focus of this message. The crucial question, however, is whose beginning is it and where is it taking us? |

The United States has been extremely blessed as a nation because the God of the Bible has been her Lord. "Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord, and the people whom He has chosen for his inheritance" [Psalm 33:27]. Since her establishment as a free and independent country, America has been God's client nation and mainstay in furthering the work of spreading the gospel to a lost and dying world. She has also been Israel's biggest ally and loyal benefactor ever since Israel became a nation. At the turn of this century, in 1907 in the wake of the Spanish-American War in which the USA was the victor, President Theodore Roosevelt resolved to demonstrate her might to the world. He thought this would help constrain bully nations from trying to take over territory in the Western Hemisphere. Through a mighty show of naval power - the only means at that time of getting to American soil - he believed that foreigners would see the futility of trying to molest the USA or others with whom she has treaties. In effect, it highlighted the doctrinal intent of the Monroe Doctrine which we will look at below. |
| Since he wanted the world to visibly see our powerful naval fleet, he ordered the ships painted partially white (as a sign they were on a mission of peace and not war) and gave them orders to sail around the world. This "big stick" diplomacy as it has been termed was effective until the technological revolution superceded the industrial revolution. |

As the constraints of time and distance diminished through technology, the prospects of war have increased proportionately. Because man's nature is basically selfish and sinful rather than gracious, it is inevitable that wars will be fought as Jesus foretold [Matthew 24:6]. Thus, it behooves a country to be ever vigilant against encroachment by sinister people with ulterior motives. This is the crux of this vision. |

The interpretation of this vision is based upon an understanding of the forces and movements controlling the minds of men. Without some knowledge of historical trends, current events, and Bible doctrine, it would be impossible to get at the meaning. I do not presume to be an historian, nor a theologian, nor do I desire to delve into the machinations of the occult, of wicked men who would subvert and rule the world. But, because I have been in higher education and the field of learning for quite some time and have been studying the Word all along the way, some things just come together as natural associations, if not revelations, that accommodate the facts. One does not need a philosophical background to be able to read and understand the Bible. Spiritual IQ is not dependent upon physical IQ. "The testimony of the Lord is sure, making wise the simple" [Psalm 19:7]. "The entrance of thy words giveth light, it giveth understanding unto the simple" [Psalm 119:130]. Truly born again Christians have the Holy Spirit indwelling them, and He will use whatever is stored in our memory bank to reveal truth to a believer. Not just anyone, however, who knows Scripture can make discerning judgments because New Age groups and organizations are loaded with people who have misinterpreted the Word of God. Worse still, there are professors in seminaries claiming to be Christians who have been blinded by the devil into thinking that the Bible is outmoded and full of errors. Whole books have been written about the Bible which have missed its meaning. When someone who is not indwelt by the Holy Spirit who authored it, tries to read it just like any other book in order to write about it, truth comes out perverted. These people constitute the blind leading the blind that Jesus spoke about in Matthew 15:14. When so-called scholars cast lots to determine if an historical person said something, such as the Jesus seminar group has done, they are "the blind leading the blind" and anyone who hearkens to them will fall into the abyss with them. Truth is not based upon the cast of a die. Chance is not an option with a creator nor an inventor. Survival of the fittest is an anthropological lie because it has been scientifically proven to be a false interpretation of nature. But this is not the place for a discussion about these things. It is my belief that the players on the planet are plainly deceived, dangling puppets tweaked and pushed around in the drama of life by unseen principalities and powers acting on orders from satan whose agenda is to be overtly worshipped as god. All worldly events at this time are swiftly moving to that end. The reason that satan has not yet pulled off this erstwhile ambition of his is because God is and always has been in control of everything going on in His creation and has an agenda of His own. The world is truly a staging area from which Almighty God is choosing from among the sons and daughters of men a family with which He can fellowship in His soon coming renovated universe. Truly, the beginning of the end is nigh at hand. |

Both have been the occupants of the symbolic White House Jeannette saw in the vision. George Washington was the first president elected in 1788 and George Bush was the forty-first president elected in 1988. Their tenures demarcated the strength of United States' sovereignty. Our Constitution was righteously and ethically stabilized as the law of the land by the honorable George Washington; but it was made subservient to the United Nations' Charter by George Bush when he proposed a "new world order" for everyone including American citizens in a speech before a joint session of Congress September 11, 1990. |

| It is not my purpose to judge George Bush as a person because only God knows the hearts of men, but I am commanded by our Lord Jesus Christ to "judge not according to appearance, but judge righteous judgment" [John 7:24]. Hence, we are told by our Lord to make judgments about what men say because freedom depends upon it. Hence, I can only speak to what George Bush has said - in public as well as off the cuff. Words are powerful and they disclose the motivations of men's hearts. People have been fired from jobs or lost their reputations because they have said the wrong thing at the wrong time regardless of whether or not what was said conveyed the real intentions of the speaker. The higher one's standing in the arenas of social interaction, the more important and potent their words become. In fact, we all will be judged by what we say in the judgment. |
Accepting the fact that President Bush was the first United States' president to suggest to American citizens that we must look for opportunity to build a "new world order"... "where the rule of law...governs the conduct of nations," and "in which a credible United Nations can use its peacekeeping role to fulfill the promise and vision of the UN's founders" 3[January 16, 1991 speech] [Italics and underlining mine]. The "new world order" concept is not a new phrase because it has been used extensively in writings by esoterics, theosophists, gnostics, and any proponent of New Age thinking throughout the ages including the NIV Bible [Hebrews 9:10]. |

Nonetheless, the first American president to use it publicly as a goal setting principle upon which to guide the nation's activities was George Bush I do not for one minute believe that former President Bush desires the demise of the American way of life although it strains the mind to wonder how he can escape understanding the end result of America's acquiescence to collectivism - the vision of the UN founders. The natural consequence of fulfilling the goals of the UN charter is to redistribute America's wealth to all peoples everywhere stripping her of her prosperity, power, and sovereignty. The vision of the United Nations is for a balance of power where the United States has only one vote and the rulers of the United Nations (handpicked by the monetary backers of the UN) would manage the globe. Global government would be at the whims and caprices of the moneyed elite, the "world servers," and not the electorate. In case you don't know, this is how the president of the European Union is placed in office. He is not voted upon by the populace of the EU but is picked by a board that is in control of the wealth of the continent. Is it credible that George Bush doesn't understand the implications of UN goals seeing as how he was the United States' Ambassador to the United Nations before becoming President? It is not possible to monologue here about the merits of the United Nations' function and the "new world order" emerging from it. But there is one other critical aspect to George Bush's two statements above, which must be addressed. He talked about a struggle to birth "a world quite different...where the rule of law governs the conduct of nations..." Farida Aziz has aptly described this different world in his work, New World Order, the 21st Century. It is a condominium global model where there is no world government, only a Board of Directors who makes and enforces the "rule of law" concept. "State sovereignty will be relegated to 'leasehold' activities (no one owns anything but the wealthy) under the 'rule of law governing the conduct of nations.' The landlord becomes the United Nations and the lease enforcement mechanism is international 'peacekeeping.'" 4 The end result is that Americans will be required to live exactly like all other nations with limited resources because the earth's resources, according to the environmentalists, are being wasted, used up, and cannot sustain but a population of about 2 billion people. (There are now 6 billion people on the earth. What's going to happen to 4 billion of them?) Are you getting the picture? "Sustainable" is the buzzword for enforcing change. Get used to it because it will be used over and over in the future in speeches emphasizing the necessity for the "new world order." |

Let's look at the "rule of law" concept because all of this is the reason the Holy Spirit is warning us through this vision that change is on the way and unstoppable, meaning that we must make haste and get ourselves ready for the Rapture. Mikchail Gorbachev, head of the Gorbachev Foundation, participated in founding the State of the World Forum in 1995. Ted Turner, an avowed Christian hater, is one of the co-chairmen of it. It is impossible here to expound upon the ills of this Forum, but it is necessary to explain that Bush's remark about the "rule of law" ties in with the Forum's philosophy promoting "standard-issue 20th century collectivism" as Lee Penn puts it. 5 |

Gorbachev and Maurice Strong, a super-wealthy influential proponent of globalistic "rule of law," have written a document called the Earth Charter, which is being thrust upon the peoples of the world as the foundational principles by which a sustainable transcultural populace can live in peace without war and without consuming the limited natural resources of our planet. It is important that people understand that Gorbachev is a nature worshipper. "So nature is my god. To me, nature is sacred. Trees are my temples and forests are my cathedrals." 6 These are his words and this is why he thinks to change the laws of nations based upon Biblical concepts and destroy nationalistic fervor.

Interesting, isn't it? Although non-existent as a formal document during Bush's term of office, I believe that this Earth Charter will become the basis of the "rule of law" proposed by George Bush. It proposes population growth to zero (can't do it without abortion) and many other things running counter to Biblical ideals and teaching. Notwithstanding the Catholic's position against abortion and contraception, this stance can be easily changed by the stroke of a papal pen. The bottom line is that the charter is a declaration of "principles," which can serve as a "soft law" document establishing internationally accepted "principles" that will serve as the basis of legislation in the future. It's a sort of Ten Commandments of the "new world order" Bush envisions. |

What is this "soft law"? Very succinctly, it is that "...the new 'international body' will not be subservient to the rules of state sovereignty (one), demands of the free market (two) or individual rights (three)." Reversing the order of these words and personalizing it, the United States will be subjugated to outsiders ruling them (one), the environmental rights of all living things including natural resources (because the earth is a living organism) supercede free market enterprise and opportunity to excel in work (two), and individual people will no longer have rights above those of the group, bugs, and other species in the animal kingdom (three). All three of these give the rulers - remember they are not elected by the populace but appointed by a board of governors - the right to control space and what one can buy and sell. Could these rulers be the men Jeannette saw in Rome in the Pope's chambers in the vision entitled "Twelve Religious Men"? This is a very limited explanation of the magnitude of the sweeping change acceptance of the Earth Charter will bring. However, the description does not do justice to the narrowness (or is it broadness?) of possible future interpretations of its "soft law." Does this give you some idea of the "quite different world" George Bush was referring to in his speech of September 11, 1990? |

If all this seems heavy, please bear with it because it is necessary to acquaint the neophyte, at least superficially, with the machinations of networking with the forums and organizations of the world in order to help explain why the Holy Spirit pointed to former President Bush as the end of the era of the United States and alluded to the beginning of a new and more dangerous period in history. The goal of all of these organizations is peace, and peace is a worthy goal. But it won't gel. They say, "...peace, peace, when there is no peace." Listen to the lamentation of Jeremiah as he spoke for God who was grieving over His people's refusal to hearken to His warnings and return to the old ways, which were their protective covering.
God is pleading with His client nation Israel in the Jeremiah passage above, which is the near view of this prophetic utterance. He is now pleading with His client nation the United States of America, which is the far view of this prophecy. Israel refused to walk in the old paths and God took disciplinary action as seen in verse 19. Will the USA follow in her footsteps? |

It is my belief that 1988 was a year of dishonor for the United States in God's eyes. That was the year that Hollywood, USA treaded on God's immaculate Son when MCA/Universal released their film The Last Temptation of Christ. The glorious unblemished Son of the living God, Jesus Christ, was blasphemously portrayed as a common sinner man. Even though it may not have seemed at the time like a grave mistake to despoil and desecrate the name of God and His person, I am quite sure in the spirit realm the bells were tolling for justifiable vengence on the perpetrators of this travesty of shameless scorn toward the truth about Jesus. The whole world was given a glimpse of how America treats her benefactor God, and since that time, it has been open season on Christians and Christianity. Sooner or later the piper will be paid. 1988 was also the year the U.S. voted against Israel for the first time in the United Nations. Why is this significant? Even though Israel may be under God's discipline for her rejection of her King Jesus, she is still beloved for the Father's sake because she is His estranged wife. Zechariah 2:8 teaches that he that touches Israel, touches the apple of God's eye, and it is dangerous to assault God by sticking your finger in His eye. It is significant to this vision that the number 88 is the Hebrew word for ensnare. Is it coincidental that Psalms 88:8 (a tripling of the numeral 8 intensifying even further its importance to this vision) speaks to America's betrayal of Israel in the UN assembly?

This Psalm is akin to Psalm 22. Both these Psalms refer to Jesus' death experience on the cross. They describe His suffering. Verse 15 of chapter 88 indicates that Jesus knew He would have to go to the cross and that He had prepared Himself mentally for the ordeal. But the entire Psalm tells about the horror of His anguish in having to undergo the ordeal alone. No one else qualified because Jesus is the only man who has lived a sinless life and did not have a debt to pay for Himself. He was mankind's precious, unblemished substitute undergoing the horrors of being totally separated from His heavenly Father. Therefore, verse 8 of 88 refers to Jesus as the Jewish Messiah, Savior of the world. The spiritual significance of verse 8 describes how the United States, being the best friend of Israel since her establishment as a nation, forsook her at the UN and left her defenseless. From this vision, it seems like this was the beginning of the end of the protectorate role of the U.S. for the helpless. The UN did not usurp it but assumed this role in 1990 during the Persian Gulf War under the leadership of President Bush. Read the Psalm and notice how it refers to the acquaintances or friends of the Jews forsaking God's people. God says "Woe" to the people who mistreat Israel. "I will bless them who bless you, and curse them who curse you" [Genesis 12:3]. She is shut up without America's help and cannot escape from the UN net in which she is ensnared. Having said that the number 88 is the Hebrew word "pahah" meaning "ensnared," 7 can we attribute this finding to accident? I think the Holy Spirit is trying to tell us that because we have forsaken Israel and demanded that she acquiesce to international constraints or we will cut off aid to her, God has rejected the United States as His client nation and will judge her at the right time. Could that time be now? The record shows that since 1988, Israel has been consistently prodded by the U.S. to give up land for peace or she will be isolated from financial assistance from us. All of this bartering goes on behind the scenes as we saw when the Israeli/PLO peace accord surfaced in 1993 seemingly from out of nowhere. There had been secret talks for over a year. It was Russia who convinced Arafat that without her recognition of Israel as a nation there would be no peace accord and hence no Palestinian state. Therefore, the trap was set as per "pahah." Because of this policy change in 1988, the UN voted to hear him address the assembly for the first time. Although President Reagan refused him entrance into the U.S. in order to address the UN (later that year he did so in Switzerland), the tide was turning. Because America has rejected God's words and laws, He also has rejected her [See Jeremiah 6:19 above]. Not only has she not respected the fact that the land in Israel belongs to Him and He gives it to whomsoever He will [Jeremiah 2:17], but she has turned from her place of strength that our forefathers gave to her. The Ten Commandments of the Bible are no longer the "soft law" driving the course of our culture, and the Monroe Doctrine, which we will look at shortly is no longer the principle by which our State Department acts. Universal order and national sovereignty cannot coexist. The Ten Commandments of the Earth Charter is fast becoming the rule of law of the land. What is the vehicle to carry this off? The advancement of economic interdependence will be the method. |

There is another forum that must be mentioned here. It is the powerful World Economic Forum [WEF], which meets yearly in Switzerland and which is composed of the most influential of moneyed people anywhere on the globe. It's by invitation only and companies attending must have annual sales of $1 billion or more. They are the ones manipulating economic interdependence, the means of eroding national sovereignty. Maurice Strong who has been mentioned as a collaborator with Gorbachev in formulating the Earth Charter, is extremely influential in this Forum and is on its board. As an aside, Maurice Strong is a New Ager and has built a temple to the Sun God in Colorado. This group of world governors, I believe, will eventually adopt the Earth Charter and will be the ones who implement the means of not buying and selling without a mark simply because they control, if not own, all the world's resources.
Lastly, an important organization which relates to the end of this vision is the Green Cross International. Gorbachev, who does not see himself as a has-been is its founder. It is the strict environmentalist earth overseer group. Considering the fact that he is an earth worshipper, can you understand why he has called his brainchild the Green Cross International? Do you suppose that this godless atheist's endeavors in making his Earth Charter the supreme law on the planet is why God burns up a third of the world's landmass with fire in His wrath? We are told in Revelation 8:7 that "...the third part of trees was burnt up, and all green grass was burnt up." It appears like God is quite angry at this green peace initiative because it says that all green grass was burnt up, not just a third. Considering the fact that the wooden cross became red with the blood of God's Son as He hung upon it for the sins of everyone including Gorbachev, can you see why the Almighty would be angry at this pun by the insensitive world changer? In a press release by the Green Cross International, they stated that Gorbachev still has an unfulfilled destiny. Even Gorbachev has commented about himself, "actually, I've never left politics. I've continued to be active politically, but I think it's quite possible that my role might change. Let's live and see, let's wait and see." 8 Considering his birthmark on his forehead resembling a dragon and considering that his name is really spelled Gog...and not Gor... [See Ezekiel chapters 38 and 39 where Gog is called by name 9 times as the leader of the coalition coming against Israel in the last battle of the ages], could he be the last endtime ruler? The powerful people who rule the world of money gave him $300,000,000 during the 1980s to establish his Gorbachev Foundation, so I have read. Why was it given to him as a foundation? Because foundations pay little if any taxes. It is noteworthy that this gift was given before he stepped down from his leadership position of the USSR. Could he have been paid to step in the shadows for a moment? It looks like he's gaining momentum now that we are nearing the finish line. His Earth Charter is hard and unrelenting. It wishes to promote equitable redistribution of wealth, "reproductive health" (a code word for abortion), stabilization of the world's population at zero growth, zero growth of material economy, and protection of the biosphere which must not be subservient to the rules of state sovereignty, demands of the free market, or individual rights. 9
Having established the exit point for the USA's divinely ordained national sovereignty, let us focus on the starting point. George Washington became the first elected president of our nation in 1788 and set the precedent for our leadership to rigidly adhere to the Constitution. As a strong Christian believer he knew his Bible well and was resolute not to play favorites in ruling the country. Yet his tenure in office was not singled out by the Holy Spirit as the place where the United States sovereignty became a force to be reckoned with around the world. Are you as curious about this as I was? The Spirit informed me that it was the Monroe Doctrine, formed and established under President James Monroe's watch, that solidified U.S. sovereignty as the protector of freedom in the world. Keep this in mind. We are talking about the sovereign force protecting freedom in the world. I repeat, the Monroe Doctrine is where the United States' role as protector of freedom began. |
| The Doctrine was bandied about during Monroe's first session as President but never declared as a foreign policy decision until after he was elected for a second term in 1821. Even though the declaration was not made until 1823, it was the fact that it was already in the works and that so many colonies in Latin America had declared independence in 1821, that the need for the doctrine became glaringly apparent to the benevolent leaders of the United States of America. |  |

The colonies declaring independence in 1821 were Mexico, Peru, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, and the Dominican Republic. Equator had already declared her independence the year before. None of these colonies could match European armadas and well-trained and well-equipped armies. So the U.S. arose to the occasion and decided that we would become the protectors of freedom in this hemisphere. It was in response to a belief that the colonies might not be able to maintain their independence if steps were taken to re-colonize them that the Doctrine was formalized. It declared the Western Hemisphere off limits to expansionist governments and became the grounds upon which the U.S. would interfere, if need be, in protecting the freedom of the peoples of this hemisphere from encroachment by greedy monarchies and religious intimidation. In short, it was a diplomatic decision aimed at stopping European expansion into the Western Hemisphere and at the same time effectively made isolationism the course of American foreign policy. |

Although some historians belittle the doctrine as a wise move believing it to be politically inspired to help one man become president of the United States in 1924, John Quincy Adams, the Holy Spirit through this vision has revealed to me that God sees otherwise. I believe He ordained it as a restraint on satan. The severance of ties with the motherland by American colonies and declaring the New World off limits to European expansionists kept the door opened to evangelization of this hemisphere. This is the "open door" that the Philadelphian church received in Revelation 3:8. It was the door to evangelize without harassment from entrenched religions. The Catholic Church would be limited in how much pressure she could put upon her converts in the New World. And the Holy Alliance of Prussia, Austria-Hungary, and Russia was in point of fact warned to stay out of this hemisphere's domain along with Great Britain which also had wandering eyes. It is important to understand that God's method of protection from total enslavement by satan whose only goal is to be worshipped as god is balance of power through nationalism. Balance of power under internationalism is the death knell of freedom because all it takes is for a supposedly benevolent peace-promoting ruler to become a dictator empowered by satan. Remember that the Antichrist comes on the scene riding a white horse without any arrows for his bow [Revelation 6:2]. White is the color denoting peace, and he won't need arrows since the UN peacekeeping police force will be his rear guard. Therefore, internationalism is the method by which the Antichrist will take control of the world and is the reason God dispersed the people at the Tower of Babel through confusion of languages. He didn't do it in vain. In the early stages of the post flood civilization, the Babylonians had established a one-world rule under a counterfeit system of worshipping God and people were becoming enslaved to a false system of religion, which would damn them. Internationalism began the new world order after the flood during the third millennium before Christ, but God quickly replaced it with His governmental method of nationalism at the Tower of Babel. Having come full circle, internationalism will again soon control the peoples of the world as prophesied by the Bible. "(A)nd the dragon gave him his power, and his seat, and great authority...and all the world wondered after the beast...And they worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the beast and they worshipped the beast, saying, Who is like unto the beast? who is able to make war with him?..(A)nd power was given unto him to continue forty and two months...over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations" [Rev 13:2b-7]. However, the Lord says, "(s)tand ye in the ways, and see, and ask for the old paths, where is the good way, and walk therein, and ye shall find rest for your souls. But they said, We will not walk therein" [Jeremiah 6:16]. Because people will not walk in nationalism and they are seeking new skins for new wine, He is turning them over to internationalism. Consider what is being said because it is the reason the vision ends the way it does. |

Different languages inhibit communication and curbs deception. Deception is satan's greatest tool to enslave people. While error is an unintentional deviation from truth, deception is based upon lies. There is a subtle difference between the two. Deception comes when the facts are known but twisted causing poor judgment in choosing. Error is the result of not having all the facts, not having enough light to make a right judgment. This is the reason God places a premium on judgment throughout His Word. We're repeatedly told to judge righteous judgment, which is simply choosing rightly between options. Jesus warns that at the end of the age deception will be the means by which satan gains control of the world. Three times in Matthew 24, which is the chapter about the end of the age, He warns us not to be deceived. The spirit of Antichrist cannot arise where truth is not known. It's impossible for this spirit to operate in areas where Christ has not been preached, and since there is hardly any place where the gospel has not been preached, the world is ripe for the spirit of Antichrist to take over. The prefix "anti" means instead of or against. Antichrist comes first against the truth with deception, and then seeks to replace Christ with another Jesus. In order to pull off this feat of replacing Jesus in the church, satan and his demons are going to have to transform themselves into angels of light performing miracles (but they'll be lying signs and wonders) and healing people just as Jesus did. Antichrist's behavior will be an almost exact duplicate of the real thing. He'll be loving, compassionate, forgiving, and merciful. The only way to tell the difference will be to examine the fruit. What is he saying? Is he telling us to compromise the gospel for the sake of unity and peace? Is he suggesting that we redefine sin and do away with teaching about a blood sacrifice and the need for faith in it? Does he tell us that the Bible has errors in it, and there are many ways to heaven? Many religious groups live good moral lives but they renounce Jesus as God's Son and deny His deity. The world is full of goodwill workers who perform righteous acts daily, but their teaching belies their authenticity. The closer to the real, the better the counterfeit. So, fruit can look good on the outside, but the seed is rotten. It's not how many people a person may have helped, but how close to the truth one lives. Satan will be hard at work to convince people that the Antichrist is the real Christ. And unfortunately, prophecy teaches he will succeed. The apostasy spoken of in the last days is already upon us because there is a deliberate turning away from revealed truth. Apostasy is impossible with people who have not known the truth, therefore, by definition the spirit of Antichrist begins in association with the church [1 John 2:18,19]. "He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son" [2:22]. |

Christ consciousness is permeating all religions and the distinctions between the messages are becoming more difficult to ascertain. Vernacular is beginning to all look alike: peace, unity, brotherhood, love, tolerance, the divine within, self-esteem, forgiveness, helping hands, etc. The synthesizing element for Christ consciousness in all religions from New Age neopaganism to the Charismatic Renewal groups is that people need to release the divinity within them. Charismatics say experiencing God is the way to do this. When the inherent divine spark within is ignited, we will be on our way to being actualized like Jesus. Many say that Jesus was merely a man who was able to actualize rapidly, and He showed us "the way." "The way" is not our need to be saved from our sins, but the need to become like Christ, to be Christ conscious and release the divine that is within us. It has been necessary to show the direction the tidal wave of change is taking us because it is the reason as far as God is concerned, that America has been stripped of her leadership role in the world. The Executive Orders of our recent presidents, of which there are dozens and supercede the laws of the land, have virtually assured that internationalism has replaced nationalism as the foreign policy of choice in our government. Nationalism is God's means of propagation of the gospel. But now it appears like saving men's souls from an eternal hell has been given less priority than saving the planet. We have seen that George Bush's move to engage internationalism will ultimately lead to the dismantling of armaments, and hence freedoms for the good of the planet and at some point it will mandate upon penalty no meddling with the faith walk of another. It is inevitable that proselytizing people will be looked upon as harassment and will be forbidden for the sake of unity and peace. Aggressive recruitment to save people is already being proclaimed as bigotry and racist by the world's Interfaith Councils which propose sanctions upon those who interfere in other people's religious beliefs. The search for synthesis of all faiths is the driving force uniting all religions. Many of our highly visible, evangelical Christian leaders are already saying that there is good in all religions and hence we should find out what is common so we can unite there to create a more humanistic culture. Hence, humanism rears its ugly head even in Christian churches. |

First comes unity intra-Christiandom, where the streams of Charismatic Renewal within the denominations come together. Then comes unity through the Interfaith Movement where all faiths join hands. It appears as if the common denominator in all of this is going to be the spirit of the aforementioned Christ Consciousness. Every religion is looking for an avatar of sorts, an anointed one, a savior person who can lead us into a utopian world. All the major religions now have a Christ who is to come. Even New Agers are looking for the return of Jesus Christ who they say never left the earth but is somewhere in the Tibetan mountains waiting for his reappearance. But which Christ are we all looking for? It won't be the Jesus of the Bible I can assure you. Where is he leading us? It looks like he is taking us to a "New World Order," to a one-world government supported by a UN peacekeeping force that will support a peaceful amalgamation of all religious faiths. Does this sound like the whore riding a beast in Revelation 17:7? Unfortunately, Revelation teaches that the ultimate consequence of rejecting cardinal doctrines and displacing the priority of proclaiming salvation with social concerns is a harlot church. "By peace (he) shall destroy many" [Daniel 8:25]. |

God has shown His approval of the policy of isolationism as a Biblical principle by pinpointing the date of 1821 as the place of departure for de facto American sovereignty because this was the time when isolationism became foreign policy.De jure American sovereignty came of age with the Constitution's implementation under George Washington's watch in 1788. Isolation is a form of separation and is required for God's people in order to prevent demonic influence from hindering spiritual development. |
| People are called out of the world in order to become separated from others unto Him for service. 10 The word for "church" in the Greek - "ecclesia" --means "a calling out" according to Strong's Concordance. Therefore, God looked upon the Monroe Doctrine as an important step in keeping the world free for the overspreading of the gospel of Jesus Christ. Early on George Washington warned against making permanent alliances with other nations. He considered political alliances entangling and thus evil, but on the other hand he believed that commercial ones were beneficial and hence good. Why? Because trade is the carrier of civilization, as well as the Bible, and the gospel. Prudence, therefore, cautions against total isolation for it can be unproductive to the cause of Christ. |

As has been noted the United States of America was God's client nation for 167 years. She was Jesus' doorkeeper guarding His divinely appointed "open door" policy of Revelation 3:8. Could the reason our Constitution was written in Philadelphia be because we would be the namesake successors to the prophecy of the 6th church, namely Philadelphia? I am not suggesting that Christians in other parts of the world do not qualify as members of this church. What I am alluding to is that each succeeding church had its time and place for fulfillment. Its heart and soul had a location from which its message stemmed. Ephesus was located near the place where Christianity began and from there it spread to Rome where it stagnated. The sixth church was given an "open door" and a "little strength" [verse 8] to accomplish her work. It took a new lease on governmental constructs and a release from political entanglements in order to gain this "little strength" which could preserve the "open door" policy for evangelization. The United States was groomed as God's client nation to see that "no man shutteth" the door during this period. Laodiceans are fast overtaking the Philadelphian church and will soon be in total control. Since 1988, the door has been closing fast due to the intent of the internationalists who control the wealth of the world to reshape the world to suit their objectives. Listen to the words of Maurice Strong as he addressed the 1995 State of the World Forum promoting his and Gorbachev's Earth Charter: "We shouldn't wait until political democracy paves the way. We must act now" 11[underlining mine]. The ideological fodder being fed to the Forums of the world is on a fast track. The door is not yet totally closed, but because of the apostasy, which is in full swing, the real Jesus is on the outside of His church saying,

He's the one who shaped the funnel that dropped down and sheared off the tree from its roots. This is a sobering thought to me. I asked why would God do such as thing? Why not let the tree which represented the United States and which the Lord told Jeannette He had cut down, die of itself? My answer was two-fold. The first answer is simple. It's timing. Timing Is Of Essence Most Bible scholars agree that Israel is God's timepiece. If you want to know what time it is, just look at Israel and the Middle East. At the time of the end Zechariah prophesied that all nations would be burdened with Jerusalem.
Can anyone deny that most of the nations in the world are burdened with Jerusalem? Many people find it tiresome hearing daily about the reluctance of Israel to give away land for peace. Yet the peace process between Israel and the PLO is coming to a head. Peace negotiations are under way even now and the new Prime Minister of Israel, Baruk, is poised for some sort of compromise. I have read where there is talk that Israel would concede part of Jerusalem to the PLO if they could have access to the temple mount in order to build a synagogue there. Because the PLO wants Jerusalem as their capital very badly and are angering the Jews by bulldozing ancient Israeli landmarks on the mount, it is conceivable that they might come to terms quickly. In addition, Israel cannot count on the United State for protection like she used to because God has pulled the rug out from under America. When things start happening, they will happen fast as we saw in Europe when the Berlin wall came tumbling down. The time is late and the stage is almost set for the fulfillment of the above prophecy. All prophecy points to the restoration of Israel as God's beloved wife. |
Having traversed through time for 2,000 years as a wayward harlot, Israel will be mercifully redeemed off the stage of infamy by a faithful husband who has grieved over her plight of double discipline all this time [Jeremiah 16:18]. In no way could the above passage refer to the church because God has never forsaken the church and He promised He never would [Hebrews 13:5]. Rejecting The Truth The second reason God cut down the tree was because His church is backslidden. From the power pursuers to the experience seekers to the prosperity hunters to the deity deniers the church is filled with doublespeak and hypocrisy. Worldliness has changed her garments and truth is fallen in the street. It's hard to tell whether the apostasy has caused the search for unity without judgment, or the shift in cultural ideals has caused the apostasy. The only thing that can be ascertained for sure is that apostasy is in the church and the son of perdition is about to appear [2 Thessalonians 2:3]. Why has this come about? It is because people have no love of the truth. Paul said that "...because (people) received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved...for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie, that they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness" [2 Thessalonians 2:10-12]. Where do we find the truth? Only in God's Word. Jesus is the Word of God and He is the truth [Revelation 19:13; John 14:6]. The only thing that will not pass away when the earth is renovated by having the elements dissolved and reformed [2 Peter 3:10-13] is God's Word. "Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away" [Matthew 24:35]. How does this compute with the teaching that there are extrabiblical truths around? You be the judge. |

found herself in a colonial White House resembling George Washington's
Mount Vernon. God told Jeannette that the house was Washington's White
House. Since we know the furniture was early American style, and since
we know that 1788 was the election year Washington became president in
waiting, we can safely assume Jeannette was in the time frame where the
union of the States became a national sovereignty.

As Jeannette looked around outside she saw a large old oak tree that had been sheared off by some powerful force. It wasn't one that had fallen from old age or it probably would have pulled some of its rotten roots out as it fell. This was such a force that it snapped the tree before the roots could be loosened and pulled up. Not only that but God said, "My hand did this" indicating that the tornadic activity Jeannette saw from the inside of the house had dipped down outside and sheared off the tree. |

Verse 3 above indicates that the godly person will be like a tree that prospers. For 200 years the United States of America had a constituency of people who were basically honorable and godly, the Bible being their delight. There are still a few godly people who love the truth in the Word of God, but most of America's citizenry today are nominal Christians only. They have "a form of godliness but deny... (i.e., lack) the power thereof "[2 Timothy 3:5]. What happens to the tree whose waters dry up? According to verse 4, the wind drives it away such as Jeannette saw in the vision. Since these are God's Words and He said He cut down the tree, we better take heed to what the Spirit is saying. In Scripture trees stand for nations. Recall that after Jesus prophesied about the time of the end to his disciples, He capped it off with a parable about a fig tree. |

Without much disagreement, the fig tree is symbolic of Israel according to biblical interpretation. Putting forth leaves was the sign Jesus gave that the end was near when coupled with all that He had previously said. Leaves signify that the sap on a tree is rising and its strength is increasing. Likewise, the leaves on the fig tree in this parable illustrate that Israel's strength as a nation would be the determining factor that the nearness of Jesus' return is upon us. Since her inception as a nation in 1948, her strength steadily increased until she became the third military power in the world after the United States and Russia. What her capabilities are at the present moment is undeterminable because she cannot disclose her exact total strength upon peril of her neighbors countering it and destroying her. Luke adds a note of importance to us in his account of the parable by writing, "...behold the fig tree, and all the trees..." [Luke 21:29]. From Luke's account Jesus made mention of all the trees. I believe that Jesus mentions all the trees in order to alert us to the fact that at the time of the end there would be a proliferation of nations. Indeed, we have seen just that. Since the formation of the UN around 50 colonial groups of people have declared independence and sovereignty from their motherlands. They have come of age so to speak and have joined the world of national sovereigns. The import of this is that trees stand for nations, and the tree Jeannette saw outside stripped of leaves and whose lifeline was severed represents the United States of America. The tree was old and large. The United States was 200 years old in 1988 and was a heavyweight among nations. The loss of her leaves indicates God is permitting her strength to be given over to the United Nations with its agenda of internationalism. God says that when anyone forsakes Him, He will forsake them. I for one find this unsettling. All we can do is hope that Jesus comes for His bride soon. Do we know that God will forsake us? Is there Scripture to back this up? I believe there is which is why I find it upsetting. I'm not frightened, just dismayed that America has forsaken her roots. The fast track of high technology is disquieting because it is a voracious consumer of time. Having learned all the answers for one innovation, they change all the questions, and this is done relentlessly. How can one "Be still and know that I am God" [Psalm 46:10] when the next update demands attention? I maintain that the reason God has rejected the United States as her client nation is because the church is so full of deception and error that evangelization now is producing stillborn babies who have no life in them. Is there life after judgment for the U.S.? See the Addendum for an exposition of how I have been led to see it. There is a correspondence between Isaiah 18 and this vision. The fact that the tree still had its base in the ground and was not uprooted implies that she does have a future as does the nation in the Isaiah passage, but how bleak or rich remains to be seen. No leaves on the fallen tree connote that she has been stripped of her power since leaves reveal the strength of a tree. Probably at the point that the funnel cloud touched down it sucked up all the leaves with it as it ascended back up into the heavens. Jeannette's remark that there was no grass on the ground underneath indicates that the waters feeding it had been dried up. Water is a purifying agent and in Scripture stands for the Word by which we are washed "that he might sanctify and cleanse (the church) by the washing of water by the word" [Ephesians 5:26]; so, it could be that the removal of the Ten Commandments from public education classrooms in the early 1960s cut off the supply of nourishment to our nation. Because the tree was old and large, its root system could no doubt reach out a long way like live oaks or down deep like pecan and pine trees to obtain nourishment from other sources of water. In doing so, however, the tree began to drink from contaminated water. |

It was revealed to me that the reason God had to intervene and cut down the tree is so that the Scripture could be fulfilled in Isaiah 18. America has been on a roll and the prophecy indicates that at the height of the prophesied country's prosperity and glory, before the pinnacle is reached, the tree must be cut down. Since turning her back on God's Ten Commandments, America has been advancing on inertia, and it takes a lot of friction to stop a giant. Nevertheless when God is ready He will make a quick work of her demise. Do you suppose that the one hour destruction of Babylon spoken of in Revelation 18:10,17,18 could be referring to the U.S.? We know that 40 is the number of preparation in Scripture. Could the fact that it will be 40 years old, in a couple of years, since our betrayal of God in the public domain have anything to do with the escalating rise of internationalism? |

As I stated at the start of this paper, I had a feeling even before the Spirit gave me a definitive interpretation that the vision had reference to world events. I immediately saw a linkage between components in the White House, the broken tree, and the bank, but I still did not have the key to an unarguable meaning (as far as I was concerned) because of the cryptic letters on the monument. I kept thinking that each individual sign needed a precise corresponding letter equivalent. In searching through alphabets and such as pertaining to hieroglyphics and ancient writing, I found the key. |

It was in a book Jeannette had purchased from a bookstore a few days after she had the vision. The prophetic visitation was so strong on her that she could not let it rest. It was a fortuitous happenstance that she found a book that would unlock the key. Although I was pretty sure the Lord had given me the interpretation at the time of hearing it, I had to check out whether my memory of historical events was correct and I was not remembering falsely. Yet, I did not have time to pursue all of this in April because we were getting ready to go to India. Jeannette, however, being the bearer of the visitation by the Lord, was extremely distraught by what she was shown and had to pursue its meaning. Even though she had no idea what the numbers 88 and 1821 signified, nor the connotation of the broken tree, she felt compelled to pursue the meaning of the letters on the stone. Going to a bookstore, she was extraordinarily fortunate in finding a book entitled Reading The Past, which was published in 1990 by the trustees of the British Museum wherein six scholars of ancient writing contributed their knowledge to a compendium volume about the story of writing. The emphasis was to compile their expertise in a work, which suggests how writing came about leading to development of the various alphabets. It was written for the lay person who is interested in the historical roots of linguistics, and the authors did a marvelous job in explaining this development. It was in reading this book that I was given the key to the interpretation of this vision. It is not my intent nor desire to delve into the history of writing in this interpretation, but in order to understand why the Lord placed a monument with cryptic signs on it in this vision, one has to know something about what I was reading. Thinking that the word-signs on the stone were hieroglyphic signs, I started reading first in that chapter on hieroglyphics in the middle of the book, but as I read and looked at the pictures, I kept sensing that the signs on the stone in the vision were not of Egyptian origin. They just did not match that well. So I decided the best thing to do was start at the front of the book and read from the beginning. It was in the first chapter that I realized I had been on a rabbit trail leading to the wrong place. Jeannette had assumed that they were hieroglyphic encryptions while I thought they were some sort of Hebrew. The moment I saw cuneiform inscriptions, I knew that the word-signs represented cuneiform script. This was the key I was searching for. Before I get too far into this part of the interpretation I must tell you that Jeannette had drawn a picture of the lettering she saw in the vision a few days after we had discussed them. It is a good thing she did because the picture she drew was what alerted me to the fact that they did not seem like Hebrew lettering which has small knobs on the corners and ends of the strokes. The lines were too skinny to me. The strokes of Hebrew letters look fatter. The day after the vision she described the knobs she had seen on the ends of the strokes as little hands. This puzzled me, so I quizzed her about them. She said they weren't exactly hands, but seemed like hands, so I asked her to draw a picture. She did not draw hands with appendages. I told her I did not see hands but little knob-like attachments. She was very adamant that what she had drawn was exactly like what she had seen, and if so, they were more like fists than open hands. I was amazed that she could draw an exact image, but I remembered about the Latin sentence she had recalled after seeing it written in a vision entitled Crossbeam. In that instance, even though she had no background in foreign languages, she had written a complete Latin sentence correctly. Consult the vision for the unusual conditions therein, which helped us know that the vision had to have been from the Lord. Although not miraculous, the same incredible find - at the very first bookstore that she visited last spring - has availed here. |

Cuneiform is Latin - "cuneus" - meaning wedge. The reason the writing is called cuneiform is because a wedge-shaped stylus was used to make impressions in moistened clay tablets by the Sumerians in the Mesopotamia Valley in the Middle East. This is the earliest known form of writing extant. Because no part of the book we were looking at may be reproduced without written permission of the Publisher, we will not be able to include a picture of this writing. However, let me assure you that it looks like chicken scratch. In fact, this is what alerted me to the association. Jeannette's drawing depicting what she saw in the vision looked liked chicken scratch to me and so did the cuneiform writing! 12 Some scholars tell us that the earliest archaeological level of artifacts having to do with writing of any kind has been found in the region of Babylonia and that Egyptian hieroglyphics borrowed writing forms from the Sumerians. As soon as I knew that the inscription was cuneiform and that it's origin was Sumer not far from Babylon, I knew I was on the right path to the interpretation. Abraham's tribe which stemmed from Noah's son Shem lived in the city of Ur in the southern Sumerian region of Babylonia, while Nimrod's family from Noah's son Ham, had settled in the city of Babel in the northern Akkadian region of Babylonia. The two regions are only about 450 miles apart from their extremities and approximately 250 miles separates Babel from Ur. Some experts believe that the Sumerians developed their pictographic system of writing first and that the Akkadians borrowed, or copied if you prefer, writing signs from them. For the purposes of this vision it is not important who developed writing first. The import of the archaeological evidence for this vision is that the earliest writing forms of pictograms led to letter signs which became standardized over time to spell words, and it all happened in Babylonia. This is the place where the Tower of Babel incident occurred. |

The building of the Tower of Babel was the cause for God dividing humanity by way of diverse languages. Earlier I alluded to the reason God dispersed men with different languages. I remind you that it was to prevent a one-world governmental system, which we call internationalism. God had to establish nationalism via language barriers to preserve freedom to preach righteousness as Noah had done prior to the flood. |

Without freedom to choose to serve and worship God, He would not have a people with whom He could fellowship. With only one language satan could deceptively gain control of the ruler who leads the people and become the dictatorial god of all. It is prophesied that this will happen, but it transpires prior to Jesus' setting up His own benevolent monarchy. When God differentiated language, it forced the dozens of families with varying languages to scatter in order to live without fear of becoming enslaved by the strongest of tribes with whom they could not communicate. In concert with lower animals that cannot communicate, the law of the jungle would obtain. Therefore, dispersion for the sake of peaceful coexistence was the result of language barriers. This retarded development of human potential and the rise of humanism. If you read the Tower of Babel account in Genesis 11, you will find that the people were building the tower and the city of its location in order to make a name for themselves.
The land of Shinar is the Babylonian region where the city of Babel was located. Notice in the above passage that the people wanted to make a name for themselves. Archaeology has discovered from the ruins of ancient cities in the area that there is a connection between Ham's descendants, Cush, Nimrod, and Nimrod's wife, Semiramis, and the city of Babel with its tower. 13 I contend that the descendants of Ham had become jealous of those of Shem and decided to compete with Shem for "a place in the sun." The word Shem means, "name"; and in Old Testament times names stood for people's destiny. The word Shem or "name" comes from a root word that connotes the idea of a definite and conspicuous position. It was an appellation implying honor, authority, and character according to Strong's concordance. The implication meant that Shem's progeny would be respected above others and would have a "name" above all names. We find that Shem's great, great...grandson Jesus did. |
We can infer from the above that God chose Shem as the line through whom the Savior and inheritor of the world would come. He did. It was Jesus. This suggests to me that Ham's descendants coveted God's choice of Shem as the progenitor of His Son and resented having a curse upon the family [Genesis 9:25]. Ham's family wanted a privileged and exalted position as well. So they decided to "make a name for themselves" as Genesis 11:4 discloses. They were not going to let Shem receive all the glory. Instead of humbling themselves, worshipping God, and being patient and letting Him work out a place of honor for them, they began to take matters into their own hands as humans often do. This was the root of secular humanism. Human ingenuity is enhanced when the minds of men collaborate. Therefore, they used their imaginations and started to build a tower to reach unto heaven meaning that they were going to become "little gods." This was the beginning of the infamous idolatrous Babylonian system, which makes gods out of anything including bugs and men. They had fallen into satan's trap and were committing the same sin he had committed in heaven. [Confer Isaiah 14:12-17 where he said he was going to ascend into heaven with his throne and be like God.] When men started building a world system without God as its head, the Almighty put a stop to it. He curtailed His creature's creative capability and dispersed people according to various languages in order to set back mankind's aptitude to develop technology which could destroy the planet.
Hence, division of languages retarded man's creative genius for around 4500 years - until now. God disrupted mankind's intentions temporarily for the purpose of fulfilling His plan to save men.
