Daniel's 70th week, and until the body of Christ matured during the intercalation of the Church Age, historical events were not understandable, which is why his book was closed. The closer one gets to an event, the more clearly one can discern prophecy.

In the "Earth Shattering" vision, we have a picture of the "Climax of the Ages", and a shocking illustration of the fate of people who choose to follow their own path through life. In "Divine Arm of the Lord" we see the glorious outcome of anyone who chooses to serve the Lord and seek His will for his or her short life. A comparison of the visions' two groups of people, believers and unbelievers, is provocative and challenging to anyone who is sensitive to spiritual matters. People who are tied to their physical senses, who do not have eyes to see past their own little space and self-interests, will never be able to discern the significance of these godly messages. God loves all humanity, however, and does not want to see anyone perish. That is why He sent His Son to open the way into His love. As sovereign Lord of all creation, He will not share His glory. Furthermore, when the climax of the ages is over, He will not tolerate outlaws again in His new creation. We have addressed this matter in these visions. The critical point in all three prophetic visitations is that every person must make a choice in life whom to serve, and our eternal destination will be sealed at the time of our physical death or translation.

After making the choice of serving the Lord and winding up in heaven, or not serving Him and going to hell, those who choose to serve the Lord must persevere unto the end in order not to miss God. This was the point of the "Great Apostasy" prophecy. Believers must not betray their blood covenant loyalty to the Most High God because there are severe consequences attached to betrayal of covenants. Treason is what got us in the mess we are in now. Adam betrayed God's trust that he would make a right choice in the Garden. Thus because one man sinned one time [Romans 5:17,19], the whole human race and everything in God's creation is on an escalating path to destruction. "Earth Shattering" demonstrated the truth of this Biblical teaching. We found that blood covenants carry curses as well as blessings. When God established covenants as binders with boundaries, He ordained that there should be an avenger of blood associated with them. The person next of kin was designated as the avenger of blood, which required him to avenge the harm or death of members of a covenant family. There was no avenger of blood in God's original Adamic family, so God had to create one. His own Son was chosen. He had to become a man to do it, because he had to be a kinsman, someone with the same genetic makeup. When people with dissimilar genes covenant together, they cut their flesh and mix their drawn blood symbolizing that now they were of the same family.

Adam was originally created innocent and perfect and maintained that state until he sinned. God's second Adam, Jesus, was born fully man with all it entails. He never betrayed God's plan like Adam did. The 1st Adam was supposed to rule, to walk upright before God, and to work all things out for God's glory and pleasure, but he failed. As a man, Jesus laid aside His eternal glory for the duration of living out the role as the 2nd Adam. His created purpose was to accomplish what the first Adam did not do, and to become his kinsman redeemer. Jesus had to avenge the covenant terms of death for Adam who was now out of the picture because he had sold Himself and made satan His lord when he chose to listen to him instead of God. If he had not disobeyed God, being innocent, and next of kin to Eve, the first Adam could have offered to die for her and purchase her redemption out of hell, but he didn't. Being a just God, He would not have left him in hell just like He did not leave the 2nd Adam there. When Adam sinned, the whole race was lost and without hope because both parents were now sinners.

Nevertheless, God is faithful and had His plan already in place before the foundation of the world. His foreknowledge knew Adam would sin. So God created a body for Jesus, was born innocent, and died innocent, for not one sin was ever brought to the attention of anyone for record. Given the nature of man, one of his six or so brethren or any of the townsmen could have reported some youthful sin had He committed any, but they did not. Thus, we conclude that He was fully qualified to be the avenger of blood for Adam's sin, and was wrongly crucified on a cross. Satan lost the game of life right there to the "Divine Arm of the Lord", and now awaits his incarceration. The sentence has already been laid down, but God has permitted him bail on the bond that he test humankind's loyalties. Satan is trying to steal as many sheep from God's fold has he can. The other half of humanity has already made a choice to serve him, and he is not so concerned about them since they are under his control and belong to his kingdom of darkness anyway. The spiritual warfare going on in the heavenlies is for the righteous to remain true to the faith by which they were saved.

The above summarizes why people must make a choice whom to serve. "Earth Shattering" and "Divine Arm of the Lord" illustrate the wages of that choice. The two first visions flow into "The Great Apostasy" indicating that we are at the "Climax of the Age" with the debut of Laodicea. The ambiance of this apostate church is akin to San Francisco, and we noted how this city had many of the earmarks of final Babylon. We saw how San Francisco is a picture of Babylon, which picture also depicts many of the contributing factors making our debutante Laodicea apostate and causing her to betray her covenant with her Lord.

San Francisco is the ultimate confluence of ethnic groups. It is the place where the baby boomers fought for and won their independence from orthodoxy and conservatism. They lost their identity and did their own thing. They rebelled against the norms and pushed free sex 'in your face' as they smoked pot, hallucinated, and smelled the incense of eastern religions. The more occult it was, the better. Haight Asbury was certainly not a closely knit-together cultural group for they were an incongruous mixture of odd people. They initiated the Laodicean lie. They had a cafeteria-style religion, and 'Jesus Christ, Super Star', was the beginning of a chain of star-studded worldly Christian celebrities.

In the 4th century, a Christian council headed by St. Augustine met in the Greek city of Laodicea. At that meeting, Christians were ordered to stop wearing phylacteries containing portions of the New Testament on their person. It was too much like a Jewish custom, and being anti-Semitic, they wanted nothing to do with the Jews. Augustine was a sinner. The outcome of this meeting was that betrothed believers covertly sewed little red threads in their garments to signify their covenanted loyalty to Jesus. The visible unity of truly born again people was obscured and the day of papal directives began. Considering what has been said about the Laodiceans in "The Great Apostasy", and this episode of history, we can see that the shadow of apostasy trails Laodicea wherever she is.

We learned in "The Great Apostasy" that Laodicea's defining moment will be when she finally joins the group of all faiths that are working towards a United Religions organization. Is it coincidental that Jesus mentioned San Francisco as symbolic of endtime Babylon and San Francisco illustrates Laodicea? Jeannette crossed a bridge over an abyss in "Earth Shattering" trying to get to the heavenly city of Zion on the other side. She wound up instead in a decimated city on earth while her companions accompanying her in the van vanished in her sight signifying rapture to heaven. Couple this with Jesus putting His finger in the divide representing a chasm within the church, a split causing "The Great Apostasy", and we have the connection between San Francisco and Laodicea. Is it not significant that San Francisco was the place where the United Nations was birthed, its charter having been written there, and it just happens to be the place where the United Religions Initiative (URI) has been authored? Is that a coincidence or is the Lord trying to tell us something? Lest one doubt the sinister connection, let me submit excerpts from newspaper articles about the meeting that launched the URI in 1995 at an interfaith service.

The harlot is saddling the beast. Interestingly, the wealthy husband of Senator Dianne Feinstein, ex-mayor of San Francisco, has helped fund the URI's pursuits. What about the State of the World Forum, which meets yearly in San Francisco and was birthed there via midwives Mikhail Gorbachev and billionaire Maurice Strong? Is it happenstance that so many global societies and organizations are regular visitors to the city? The regular 'retreat of retreats' for the nobility and aristocracy of the world meets outside of San Francisco in an area called the Black Forest. Because it is extremely occultic and arcane, and supposedly secret, they hire ground and air police protection that makes the skies off limits and the surrounding area highly classified with no admittance. One gets in by invitation only accompanied by an armed guard. Kings and queens go there to get away from the euphemistically mundane things of their lot. Could one say that San Francisco portrays a flirtatious woman commingling with kings?

Enough has been said to establish that San Francisco is a wealthy city of confusion. Danger lurks in wealth because it carries a pantheon of idols with it. Jesus told the Laodicean church to ask Him "for gold tried in the fire" [Revelation 3:18] and they would be rich indeed. I believe He meant the fire of restraint. This church is fat, sassy, and lazy. Many shepherds have found it necessary to bring in entertainment or celebrities to keep the pews filled. That is a sad indictment that most Christians do not know the real Jesus. Jesus is ultimate truth as well as the ultimate celebrity and needs no stand-ins. In His last discourse to His disciples before departing, Jesus told them,

Luke 21:34-36
34 And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that day come upon you unawares.
35 For as a snare shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth.
36 Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.

This passage is from the Olivet Discourse - Jesus' response to His disciples question about how they would know when the end was upon them. From the above, we get the impression that at the endtime people will have problems with excessive appetites be they incited by the stomach, the eyes, or the arts. Surfeiting connotes one who is a 'glut' of food, drink, sports, skiing, whatever. The word 'overcharged' means to be weighed down implying excessiveness in whatever the burden. Young people are obsessed with thinness, retired people with heaviness, and those in between with wellness. Hence, "overcharged with surfeiting and drunkenness, and the cares of this life" just about covers it all. True to prophecy, the Laodiceans, being telecommunications minded are indeed 'overcharged' with everything imaginable through television exposure. Excessiveness characterizes this generation perfectly and I believe that either it or permissiveness will be the besetting sin keeping many believers out of the glory cloud when it ascends. The one hinders occupation with the Lord and the other obscures Christian distinctives.

Lastly, Jeannette reported that this visitation by the Lord frightened her because she had never seen Him so angry before. Why was he angry? I believe we have the answer in one of Jesus' parables. Matthew and Luke both speak about a King's wedding supper for His Son.

Luke 14:16-24
16 …A certain man made a great supper, and bade many:
17 And sent his servant at supper time to say to them that were bidden, Come; for all things are now ready.
18 And they all with one consent began to make excuse. The first said unto him, I have bought a piece of ground, and I must needs go and see it: I pray thee have me excused.
19 And another said, I have bought five yoke of oxen, and I go to prove them: I pray thee have me excused.
20 And another said, I have married a wife, and therefore I cannot come.
21 So that servant came, and shewed his lord these things. Then the master of the house being angry said to his servant, Go out quickly into the streets and lanes of the city, and bring in hither the poor, and the maimed, and the halt, and the blind.
22 And the servant said, Lord, it is done as thou hast commanded, and yet there is room.
23 And the lord said unto the servant, Go out into the highways and hedges, and compel them to come in, that my house may be filled.
24 For I say unto you, That none of those men which were bidden shall taste of my supper.

Given all that has been said about the defection of the church from truth, can you see why Jesus was so livid? The last church makes the same mistake as the Jews in Jesus' day when they refused to receive Him as their promised Messiah. Both groups deny the Scriptures' account of God's preplanned method for salvation. The Jews denied the Lord was the suffering Messiah Ben Joseph of Isaiah 53, and many in the church deny "there is none other name under heaven given among men whereby we must be saved" [Acts 4:12] by opening the church doors to gospels other than the one given in the beginning by Jesus, Paul, Mark, Luke, and the Apostles. Tearing down the walls that the Reformation built in order to unify, in effect, is tainting the pure gospel and replacing it with another. Ecumenicalism denies the one-way message, yet many in the church including high visible leaders have validated other belief systems including those outside of Christianity by welcoming them into the church. Is it any wonder that God is angry? From the opening words of this prophecy, He is fuming.
The ordinary excuses of the people in the parable shows that those who rejected coming to the prepared supper preferred to be doing something else rather than be at the King's supper at the scheduled time. The inference is that they prefer to get to the wedding their own way and in their own time. They say that the time is not right. They have plans of their own. The supper cannot come before we finish setting up the Kingdom. Premillennialism is not the way, and we are not ready for the wedding. Luke records that since they did not come on time, other guests were invited to take their places because His program is going to play out as scheduled. Matthew discloses God's annoyance at their trying to superimpose their agenda upon His. When one of the guests tried to come to the wedding supper without wearing the proper garment, he was kicked out for trying to crash into the wedding wearing the faith of some other religious name. We have noted before, that the proper garment is the righteousness of Christ. "And (so, the king) saith unto him, Friend, how camest thou in hither not having a wedding garment? And he was speechless" [22:12]. He had on clothes, but they were not the attire specified in the invitation. The King gave him no opportunity to give an excuse because the account records that he was muzzled (speechless). He should have known better. Notice He called him 'friend' meaning that he had made a covenant with him prior to the wedding. Is it possible that this parable explains that apostatizing by way of changing garments, i.e., watering down the faith message to lukewarmness, will keep those who have betrayed their betrothal to the Lord not only out of the bridehood, out also out of heaven? "Then said the king to the servants, Bind him hand and foot, and take him away, and cast him into outer darkness; there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth" [Matthew 22:13]. That's scary! My advice is for believers to check up to see if they are really in the faith, faithfully guarding the Word, and committed to the only way to God.
By changing the gospel to include other faiths that deny our Lord's deity or His exclusiveness, one in effect, rejects the King's message. 'Tolerance' will be a defining term in the near future because it will blur the Christian distinctives that separate the saved from the unsaved. Separation from error is not a suggestion. The Bible clearly tells believers to separate [2 Corinthians 6:17]. Unity precludes separation and defines 'lukewarmness'. Unity tolerates differences and waters down the fire of dedication to the Great Commission. Allowing people to think they can get into heaven by the name of any other god and not warning them that they are on a wrong course, emasculates the gospel's exclusive saving power. Hence, lukewarmness obtains, and Jesus disgustingly said, "…because thou art lukewarm, and neither hot nor cold, I will spue thee out of my mouth" [Revelation 3:16]. When God speaks, men can do nothing but obey. The gospel message is simple and clear, and we must keep it pure. Disobedience will keep people from the marriage supper. It is God's supper and the Laodiceans have no right to change His protocols for the proper dress at the attendance to His Son's wedding. We beseech you to stay with the Word.
The case has been made that Laodicea represents the final 'State of the Church', and it has blossomed in the place where the State of the World Forum meets. It has been shown that her state is in need of repentance. At present the URI is only an initiative, and does not have the blessing of this Pope. However, when Pope John Paul is gone, (and his health is not all that good), all it will take is the stroke of a papal pen and the church will be riding the beast. Regardless of whether it is the UR, the CPT, or the World Parliament of Religions, the super-wealthy ecumenists who follow New Age occultic Theosophy will be in charge, for whoever holds the purse is in control. As someone has aptly said, "Follow the money, honey." It will be a mixed bag of doctrines and dogmas but ironically, anything separative and exclusive will be out. Since God is the comptroller of nations and kings, and since He alone balances the scales, the group holding the reins will not long control the beast - seven years at the most (Mene)- and then their kingdom is finished (Mene). The climax of the age will be over (Tekel) and the Kingdom of Righteousness begins (Upharsin).
