There is a contingency condition connected to the significance of the burning cross. The first impression Jeannette had, and me too, as we each considered the flaming cross (without collaboration) was that the fire symbolized the fires of revival going on around the world. It is especially hot in some third world countries. Thousands of people are being healed of every disease known to man, and some that are not, and thousands are receiving creative miracles. More than a few amputees have had severed limbs instantly grow back, and missing organs and body parts are materializing faster than can be publicized. |
As mentioned in the interpretation, millions of people are coming to Jesus in supernatural ways with and without missionary activity, and as documented, the Lord...is confirming the Word with signs following [Mark 16:20]. So what's going on here? I desperately wanted the good news of revival to be the reason the cross was ablaze in scene two because it's fun and delightsome to speak about hope and glory. Without a doubt, the good news of Jesus' work of salvation, His love for all men, and the hope of seeing Him soon is more uplifting and cheerful to broadcast than raining on someone's parade. The Internet is awash with You Tube accounts of spectacular events, and many websites detail personal testimonies about wondrous healings and supernatural dealings. Books chronicling angelic activity are more numerous than ever, and however incredible, there are hundreds of reports of people being resurrected. In one area alone a thousand people have been tabulated as having been raised from the dead. In spite of the reality that we are in the last days' great harvesting
of souls, the Holy Spirit kept telling me that this endtime evangelistic
thrust is not the primary message of this vision. When Jeannette
reported she heard 'thunder' in heaven, saw clouds in turmoil,
and experienced
'silence' at the opening of the scene, my hopes of documenting
that the fiery cross
represented revival were crushed. Nevertheless, warning God's people
to stay ready for rapture is our reason d'etre at Whitestones.
Having been
faithful to report the principal theme of the vision, I can now
share with you an alternative ending more exciting and hopeful for
those
who will
receive it. |

| Yes indeed, the burning cross could also represent the fires of revival ablaze all over the planet. My first thought was that the twisted branches underneath the cross' surface suggests that the true body of Christ is coming into ...unity of ...faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God... [Ephesians 4:113] as doctrinal walls of division submit to Holy Spirit guidance. It is where the Spirit is allowed freedom to move without constraints that the spectacular is happening. Why now? I submit that it is because we are at the crossover point from one age to another and as usual, things associated with one age overlap those of the next. Angels have ever accompanied the arrival of God's epochs in time, so as we approach the end of the Age of Grace and the beginning of the Millennial Kingdom, we are experiencing an increase in angelic activity. I touched on this in the Interpretation when I mentioned that as Jesus was fulfilling the Law, He was teaching principles of Grace and demonstrating how to access Kingdom benefits. Furthermore, because open manifestation of the Kingdom is on the near horizon, the Holy Spirit is bringing a foretaste of what it will be like in the Kingdom. The less blessed one is materially can ironically be the cause of more spectacular demonstrations of glory. When people who have little by this world's standards rejoice and praise God with singing and dancing, it pleases the Father and brings tears to His eyes as He watches His children worship Him in spirit and in truth. The purity of this kind of love causes the fires of glory to manifest more often with excitement and joy and peace. |

The
fire catches on fast in places where there has been little or no
church doctrine due to a lack of Bibles. The Holy Ghost
does not
have
to cut through
doctrinal
error – a primary hindrance to a move of the Spirit. Manifestations of
glory and the fire of Jesus' love will increase as the Kingdom comes closer to
fruition. Hence, the world will witness on a larger scale, because the world's
population has increased exponentially, great and wondrous works working strange
and exotic activity – music from nowhere, orbs of light, angelic
visitations, and teleportations to minister for God. This could be a
major reason the cross
in the vision became huge and exploded with fire power from heaven. |

At Jesus' first coming, He said, ...if ye will receive it, this is Elijah, which was for to come [Matthew 11:14]. What did He mean by that remark? The last book of the Old Testament, Malachi, ended with the statement Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the Lord: [Malachi 4:5]. We can conclude then that Elijah precedes and will herald that the time for the Messiah has arrived. A King typically follows his herald by a few days, weeks, or months. The Scripture pinpoints the time for God's Anointed King to establish His Kingdom, and it has been shown in the Interpretation of this vision that it is after the birthing process of the tribulation. Consequently, along with heralding the King, Elijah's return also heralds the time of Jacob's trouble, the tribulation, and Revelation chapter 11 records what happens when Elijah does comes back – he comes accompanied by trouble. |
Jesus told His disciples that if they would believe it, John the Baptist who was heralding Jesus' First Advent could be accounted as Elijah who will herald Jesus' Second Advent. Therefore, people could have Kingdom blessings right then as per those obtained in the Year of Jubilee that brings freedom from bondages to all Hebrews. Why? Because the King who is slated for a future arrival was actually present in their midst, and this meant that the Kingdom of God was at hand because its King had arrived.
Acting as the rightful Anointed King sent from God, Jesus showed His credentials by performing all the duties of a king in providing the privileges and necessities of life for citizens of His kingdom. So Jesus was offering immediate Kingdom blessings to any Jew who would receive His words. But, they had to believe it to receive it. Jesus often said throughout His 3½-year ministry, "According to your faith be it unto you". With those words, He was offering citizenship privileges before the open manifestation of His Kingdom. The foregoing is why a Christian can today walk in fire power and miraculous manifestations of glory even though the Kingdom is not visibly seen. The Bible declares Christians are kings [Revelation 1:6; 5:10], and the King of Kings has come. Because ...the Kingdom of God is within you [Luke 17:21], and because it is not openly operating as a Kingdom for automatic citizenship rights to obtain, its benefits must be accessed by faith [Romans 5:2]. Being an invisible Kingdom, its citizens must maneuver and do business with spiritual eyes. The greater faith one has, the greater capacity one has for working miracles. Can
you see why miracles are so prevalent in third world countries where
the
gospel has not been contaminated with doctrinal error? It takes
great faith to cut through Scriptural error to bring about Spirit power.
If
the miraculous is dependent upon great faith, and Jesus inferred that
it is – note
the centurion's [Matthew
8:10] and the Syrophoenician's remarkable great
faith [Matthew 15:28] – then
the less teaching one has, the less false doctrine there is to contaminate
it. What did the centurion and
Syropheonician woman have in common that promoted great faith? They
were Gentiles, innocent
and error-free of Jewish doctrine. |

Dear reader if you are a child of God, YOU have access to the fire power of the cross if you will develop your faith and toss away anything that impedes what is written in the Word. Jesus overcame the devil in His wilderness testing by quoting Scripture, and you can too. All it takes is faith that God does not lie, and if He has said it, it is so. God loves everyone, but His supernatural protection and
blessings are reserved for His family. If you are not born from above
having become a son of God, my advice is get saved. Take Jesus as your
Lord, and you can walk in all the benefits of the Kingdom, now in this
life, if you will believe the inheritance God has given to every child
of His through Jesus.
But before you depart this realm, why not participate in the harvest with Holy Ghost fire power and perform miracles and healings that win the lost? The only reason more Christians do not work signs and wonders is because a good portion of them have been erroneously told that Holy Spirit giftings [1 Corinthians 12:7-11] are only for the chosen ones who make up the five-fold ministry groups of people [Ephesians 4:11-12]. The gifts do accompany the offices of apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors, and teachers, but they are not exclusive to them. God loves all His children so much that He wants us all to walk in fire power. The gifts belong to the Holy Spirit, and the Spirit belongs to each one of His children. Hence, the power of the Spirit is available within each person baptized in Christ and the Holy Ghost. Even Paul exhorts believers to desire earnestly spiritual gifts [1 Corinthians 14:1], but there is a caveat to pursuing power. We must seek love and the fruit of the spirit as well. If we do not, we are at risk of being deceived by counterfeit fanfare because wicked spiritual manifestations are also proliferating to confuse one's spiritual journey.

The fifty-year-old charismatic renewal has revived the fire power of Spirit giftings as each wave of anointing washed over the church. Given that the outpouring of rain in the last century or so has softened the church for revival, and given that the last harvest of an agricultural year is the largest bringing in all that has been promised and planted for production, as we reach the climatic end of the harvest, we are hearing reports of greater glimpses of blissful glory. Universal access to the gifts by every son of God explains why so many people who do not walk in the aforementioned administrative offices are experiencing angelic visitations and happenings such as teleportations to other places, miraculous multiplying of food, and invisible shields of protection weirdly walling off believers from devilish activity attacking people. In one place, after the singing and worship ended in a small church, the music played on but with greater instrumental accompaniment and gusto singing by holy angels. Guess what they were singing? They were singing about Jesus' soon coming! This is the stuff of the Kingdom Age, and we are at an overlap point. Angels will more and more manifest God's glory, and I invite you to partake of the fun. But as stated above, as holy angelic activity expands so does counterfeit angelic warfare to the seduction of immature and unsuspecting mature believers 1. Caution should be continually exercised in these last days of apposing kingdom powers because Jesus said that deception would be the prevalent characteristic of the final conflict of the ages between light and dark. |
I have shown that the fiery cross has a double reference which is a valid hermeneutical principle of Bible interpretation. The Holy Spirit is offering to those who will receive it through this vision and its interpretation, opportunity to join in the joyful songs of revival and eternal reward. Look upon the flaming cross as an invitation to intercede for the lost, and roadblock people's way to hell. Millions of people all over the world have no one to pray for them, to stand between them and perdition. They desperately need an intercessor. Intercession is a noble cause, a 'Nobel Prize' of great price achieved only by a few, which value can only be assessed at the Judgment Seat of Christ. Remember the tree in the Bible that had no fruit for three years and the husbandman wanted to have it dug up? The gardener asked for permission to dig around and fertilize it and see if would not produce fruit. That gardener, my friend, is an intercessor for that tree.

The implication of the parable is that people need intercessors like the tree needed someone to intercede in behalf of its survival.
Having deposited your pick in heavenly Hands, rest in expectation considering that your pick will survive. Your concern for the lost in intercession rebuffs self-serving indifference and complacency about things that matter to God. It gets His attention because salvation of souls is the most important thing on His agenda. So enter into the work of God and intercede for the hopeless, the helpless, and the lost. The
supreme purpose of prayer is not for our benefit, but for God's.
He needs people
to
be vehicles through whom He can get done what He wants
done in the earth. When we pray, "Thy
will be done in earth",
not on it [Matthew 6:10],
we are offering ourselves as instruments to do His will because we are
the 'earth tents' praying out the will of
God.
All
we
are required
to do is believe God is faithful to keep His Word. |

In sum, this vision discloses that God is seeking intercessors who will work for the harvesting of souls. Intercession is just as important as actually reaping the field, for without intercession the crops won't mature as the fig-tree parable implies.The time is short and the harvest is huge, so let's not let it rot in the ground. Seeds of intercession now, will bring forth the great tribulational harvest Apostle John saw in the Apocalypse
Coupling the contingency cross with the tribulational cross, it is apparent that God is seeking intercessors for America. May I suggest the United States as a 'pick' for whom to pray? Pray for righteousness to come upon our leaders and especially our President who greatly needs guidance regarding the oil plague in the Gulf. Pray that God will quickly send him advisers with managerial and technological expertise who can better inform him what to do. Getting to the root of the plague, pray for Obama's awakening regarding his attitude toward Israel. Pray that God will soften his heart. The Bible says that God hardens hearts as He did Pharaoh's to show forth His power, but He softens them up as well [Job 23:16]. So let's prevail in prayer and turn America around. Let her not be 'sold' in our watch. Furthermore, ask God to stir up sleeping Christians because the message herein along with the signs of the times indicate that we are living in the last generation before the Lord returns. As stated in the Interpretation, the plague has begun, and unless America does as Israel did to stop the plague David caused [2 Samuel 24], we will suffer great loss in our national beauty that Obama inadvertently has caused by hostility toward God's elect Israel. The ecological damage may be irreversible and may never return as before. I have been told by eye witnesses who have been there that a part of Alaska has never recovered its pristineness and beauty since the Exxon Valdez oil spill. What did David do to stop the plague in the last days of his reign? He purchased the land upon which the Temple would sit and sacrificed there to the Lord. God received his worship and the plague was stopped. So America take note of 'the way'. The message of this vision was sent to the prophetess immediately after the BP disaster in the Gulf. So let's unite in prayer and sacrificially intercede for God to intervene in this pollution of our environment. Ask God to disappoint the devices of the crafty so that their hands cannot perform their enterprise [Job 5:12]. Ask Him to convolute the cunning in their exercise of evil, for He knows their thoughts and can easily make them vain [1 Corinthians 3:19]. And for the sake of the gospel, let's ask our Father to keep bringing the counsel of the heathen to destruction before it ripens [Job 5:13] like He has in the recent failed bomb plot threats. Petition the Lord to curb arrogance, pride, and haughtiness among Federal and local leaders lusting for personal perks. And let's request that the Father give you and me understanding hearts so that we can better discern our own personal responsibility in saving this great Christian nation. God has compassion for the lost, but has ordained that humans fellowship with Him in saving souls. Having given us authority to speak forth righteousness in Jesus' name, God has done His part in the redemption. Jesus conquered the tyrant ruling the darkness and anointed His followers with power. So unless we intercede and pray down totalitarianism sweeping the world, and pray down entrenched complacent self-concern, the Laodicean mystic will obtain. May God's grace and mercy rest upon our land from "sea to shining sea". We at Whitestones Ministries pray that it especially rests upon you.
